Is Architecture Art?

This seminar was my first attempt at leading a group of students through a research topic and my first formal, university level experience in observing and responding to different learning styles and students’ receptivity to a critical prompt. The main question of the seminar; Is Architecture Art?, had many students learning to articulate a subjective stance using research and it was a learning experience for me to understand how to best get each type of personality to open up to debate, or to formulate their argument in a clear manner while still being receptive to the counterargument.

This diagram illustrates some of the key student types that I noticed and learned to curate my teaching style more consciously for.
